Summer 2016 starts the 2nd chapter of the Alfresco & Fireside Dinner Series at Dover Hall Estate. This season the Dover Hall planning team accompanied by our culinary partner, Mosaic Catering + Events, will be taking the dinner series to the next level. We have strategically paired each dinner with a different city from various countries. Join us not only for the exquisite cuisine that Chef Glenn Hooper will create, but to experience all of the excitement we have to offer. This year we are kicking our dinner series up a notch as we transform it into an entire experience that you won’t want to miss. Make sure to keep coming back to check out our surprise announcements such as guest chefs, entertainment pieces, wine pairings, and other accompaniments that will be popping up as the dinners get closer!
We will begin our journey on June 23rd as we take you to Barcelona, Spain to indulge in the Spanish culture. As you enter the estate grounds we will have the Latin Ballet demonstrating the rumba flamenca. Don’t forget to wear your dancing shoes because they will encourage you to join them! As you enter our bluestone terrace you will relax under the cantina lights while enjoying the sounds of spanish music. Chef Glenn Hooper will prepare an age old recipe of paella while you enjoy the estate wines, sangria, and spanish beers. If you aren’t already craving this authentic cuisine, we will have a local celebrity chef joining us! Johnny Giavos from Kuba Kuba and Kuba Kuba Dos will be creating a special surprise course that you won’t want to miss.
Our journey will continue on July 14th as we visit Loire Valley, France to celebrate Bastille Day. August 18th we will be making a pit stop in Tivioli, Italy to indulge in gnocchi and risotto. September 8th we will travel to Windsor, England and sip on Earl Grey Martinis. October 13th we will celebrate Oktoberfest as we dine in Germany. November 10th we will have our grande finale in Russia.
